Partnership Coordinator
The Christian English School of Torino (CES-to) desires to establish a number of partners, both in Torino (partnering local churches) and internationally (partnering schools and churches in other countries). The Partnerships Coordinator will work with representatives of the various CES-to partners to assist in achieving the goals and objectives for the partnership as outlined in the partnering Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This will include coordinating and communicating with people in Italy as well as in other parts of the world, therefore the ability to communicate in both English and Italian, both in writing and orally, will be important.
– Ideally this person will be in Italy and will work closely with the school administrator and teachers;
– Language skills to effectively communicate in written format and orally in both Italian and English;
– Administrative skills sufficient to coordinate the details of the various coordination activities;
– Organizational skills sufficient to manage the various Memorandums of Understandings with the various partners; and
– Social skills to effectively work with people representing the various partners;
– Each partnering relationship should have a Memorandum of Understanding which will clarify the goals, objectives and desires of both the specific partner in their relationships with CES-to. The Partnership Coordinator will be the point of contact for the partner with the school;
– Maintain an electronic folder for each partner which will include the MOU and other important information related to the partnering relationships.
– For partnering churches in Torino, coordinate with the CES-to representative and the church on the dates and times for the Sunday visit to present CES-to to the community.
– For partnering schools internationally, assist as necessary in the partnering process with teachers and families who might be involved with exchanges or sharing; and
– For international partnering churches and schools, coordinate as necessary in the mission teams and outreaches they are involved with, but the primary coordination will be with the CES-to Activities Coordinator, not the Partnership Coordinator.
It is difficult to estimate the time requirements for the Partnership Coordinator. For the purposes of this document it will be estimated that 2 hours per week, or about 8 hours per month will be sufficient for the Partnership Coordinator.
